 The Huntington County Boys and Girls Club [April 10, 2006]
The Boys and Girls Club of America is an after-school program for kids. It not only provides them with a safe place to hang out with their friends, but also offers them school work help and responsible role models to help them get through life.
Myself and my roommate who also happens to be the Assistant Director at the Huntington County B&G Club, produced this video to raise support for the club.
The video was presented at the club's Steak and Burger Night where community members were invited to enjoy a $50 hamburger while the kids from the club enjoyed a juicy steak.

 Right Here. Right Now. [March 3, 2006]
This is the result of many frustrations. Most noteably, the local church's lack of awareness of the present situation in Huntington.
Myself and five friends spent a month reading, researching, and interviewing members of the community in order to gain as near to an objective view as possible.
Since producing this video, we have presented it at Huntington University and Taylor University Fort Wayne, as well as several local churches.

 Mississippi [October 6-10, 2005]
About a month after hurricanes Katrina and Rita struck, I got a call from a friend asking if I would like to go down and help out for a few days. So I took my camera along and came back with this on my mind.
We set off from Muncie, IN, on a double decker bus that sleeps 30 people. Most of us had never met one another before the trip. One thing that impressed me on the trip was the diversity of our group and all the other volunteers we met in Mississippi. People from all over the United States and the world were gathering to help those in need. I wanted so badly to go from person to person and capture each of their stories. It was an amazing experience. |
